THE PALMS

The Palms is a $95 million, 72 suite resort hidden in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Surrounded by warm sand and the claming sound of the ocean, guests are able to indulge themselves in pure paradise. The Palms caters to providing their guests with the ultimate pleasure in rest and rejuvenation. The resort and spa draw the natural and beautiful landscape of the island into the design of its structures and surroundings. Design Packaging worked with the Palms to create a packaging program that too resembled the relaxing setting.

To represent the claming colors of the beach, The Palms color palette was kept to a relaxing blue and tranquil brown. Portraying the smooth sands, a 150GSM paper printed brown was used to create a Euro style shopping bag. The Palms logo is centered and printed in the soothing blue. Using four color process, a treasure map is printed on the interior. The handles are poly pro rope custom dyed to match the brown exterior of the bag.

To compliment the Euro style shopping bag, Design Packaging incorporated a two-piece simplex style gift box into The Palms’ program. The box is printed to match the shopping bags with a custom dyed cotton twill ribbon attached to the base of the box.

A brown faux suede pouch was designed to complete The Palms packaging program. The embroidered logo and draw cord matches the printing on the shopping bags and gift boxes. Custom dyed satin lines the interior of the pouch, providing a safe keeping for any precious item placed inside.

The Palms’ packaging program allows guests to take a part of the natural splendor and architectural grace of the resort with them.
